We’re Tanika Marais and Rentus Roux, founders of Veggie Sparkles.

We're lifelong best friends, mums, and passionate about kids health. Between us, we’ve lived in five countries, spent 16+ years in corporate, followed partners in professional sport, and raised four kids under five. We love ambition. We love nutrition. But somewhere between meetings, moves and mashed broccoli… we were losing our sparkle.

Then came fussy eating.

We did the homemade purées. The recipe books. The “this will work this time” dinners. It didn’t. Vegetables were rejected. Meals got stressful.

Until one day we noticed something:
Kids didn’t care about the cake — they only wanted the sprinkles.

So we asked:
What if vegetables were the sprinkles?

That question became Veggie Sparkles — real vegetables turned into sparkly, sprinkle-style magic kids actually want to eat.

But we’re not about gimmicks. If we were doing this, it had to be properly nutritious and backed by science. So we partnered with Innovate UK and Campden BRI, the UK’s leading food innovation centre, worked with some serious but amazing scientists , to make sure every serving delivers the equivalent of a real portion of vegetables on a plate.

Veggie Sparkles brought our sparkle back.
Now we’re sharing it with families everywhere.

Because mealtimes shouldn’t be a battle.
And everyone deserves a little sparkle ✨
